Short Narrative

Yesterday’s narratives have become today’s religious scriptures. The minds of so-called modern people are still filled with concepts of God, demons, heaven, hell, sin, and virtue. Just as the narratives of the past have transformed into religious scriptures, today’s narratives could become tomorrow’s ethical guidelines for human life.
It is astonishing to see images of gods hanging in large hospitals. Those who study modern scientific medicine and treat human bodies seem even more influenced by past narratives, or perhaps they use the idea of God to cover up their flawed treatments and medical errors
The more educated people are, the less they seem to want to differentiate between narratives and reality. They appear to be even stronger blind supporters and protectors of illusions, driven by narrow self-interest.
Whatever the case, just as the storytellers of the past have successfully controlled today’s way of life, today’s storytellers must write in a way that fully influences the human life of tomorrow!
